Never been to Weather Permitting? Forget the rules and logistics of the space since last summer? Read this:

In anticipation of the large turnout for the opening party, we request that you DO NOT BRING STROLLERS OR DOGS to the May 31st event.

We have procured :

  • EXTRA BIKE PARKING
  • EXTRA PORTA POTTIES
  • MORE FOOD VENDORS
  • FREED UP MORE SPACE IN THE NURSERY AND PARKING LOT.
  • CASH ONLY (food trucks do take cards)
  • PLANT SALES GALORE
  • BRING VALID ID

Still, you might rub elbows and make some new friends. Be courteous to other attendees and to our neighbors. There will be kids activities, so be on the lookout for rogue sprays of water. Remember to play nice and share the chalk.

We might only have a vendor or two for this first event (as space permits) but our marketplace will continue to grow as the season progresses; plants are always for sale.

Remember this is a family friendly event, that we will need to check IDs at the door and that WE ARE NOT ABLE TO ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS OR DEBIT CARDS AT THIS TIME.

Sunday is fast approaching, and we want to take a minute to recognize our sponsors. These fine folks so firmly believe in the spirit of this event that they want to be a part of it, and we are thankful for their support. Without them, there is no way that we could keep costs at a minimum or allow kids to get in for free. From its inception, Weather Permitting was intended to support and promote small businesses. Which is to say that you should seek these folks out and give ‘em your dollars, tell them how awesome they are, and I am certain they would appreciate a high five.
